Rabbi Mordechai Shalom Yosef Friedman [1897-1979] was the fourth Admo”r of Sadigura. He is known as the “Knesset Mordechai.” At his wedding, he was appointed Admo”r of Sadigura by Rabbi Yitzchak Friedman of Boyan. He fled to Vienna together with the other Admo”rs of Ruzhin at the outbreak of WWI, where this compilation was printed by his assistant. He was appointed a member of the Council of Torah Sages at the second Knessiah Gedolah in 1929.
