Compilation written on [24] leaves documenting one hundred petitions to Rabbi Kadouri for miraculous salvation and predicting the future. Alongside each one of the names are precise details in Rabbi Kadouri’s script as to how to resolve the questioner’s uncertainties, predict the future and draw forth supernatural salvations for him.
This compilation bears names of one hundred men, women and children (no more and no less) with a wide range of severe problems, from witchcraft through malignant disease and childlessness, as well as less distressing – yet no less urgent – matters such as finding a spouse or a livelihood. Rabbi Kadouri wrote each petitioner’s detailed request or problem beside his name, followed by a calculation of the gematria of the name and the goral hachol that addresses the question, in order to predict the future for the petitioner or solve his problem.
The form of the clear and detailed script is that every name is separately numbered with a pair of lines above and below it delineating the specific circumstance; clear, legible writing; precise details of the problem; detailed description of the petitioner’s name with his mother’s name, his occupation and the country in which he lives, as well as precise and meticulous pagination in preparation for print. All these demonstrate that the compilation was not written simply as a record or merely a preparation for writing amulets; it was written by Rabbi Kadouri also, and perhaps primarily, to preserve the ancient wisdom of goralot and gematriahs for future generations.
This is, therefore, an extraordinarily rare compilation, that aside from its huge segulah as a manuscript written by the leading practical Kabbalist of recent generations, comprises a textbook, possibly the only authoritative one in our generation, as to how to predict the future using gematriahs and goralot , according to the precise instructions in the manuscript by Rabbi Kadouri, in which he deciphers each and every problem. There are dozens of manuscripts as well as printed books with instructions as to how to conduct a goral hachol or how to predict the future using gematriah . However, the formulae are unfortunately as numerous as the books written about them – each book contains different instructions. For such delicate spiritual wisdom, one small change is enough to result in nothing happening. The many mistakes and differences in formulae are primarily due to ignorance of the transcriptionists, but also intentional, so that the writings do not fall into the wrong hands.
Hence the great importance of this manuscript written by the great Kabbalistic author, and perhaps the last with true Kabbalistic tradition who indeed knew and succeeded in enacting salvations and working miracles through these hidden forces. It is well-known that he knew exactly the suitable form of casting (a lot). This is evident as he would indeed reveal the futures of those who turned to him. The manuscript therefore comprises the most authoritative Kabbalistic source in recent generations about this ancient wisdom, of which Rabbi Kadouri was perhaps the last to know how to use properly.

Sifrei Goralot have always comprised an important branch of practical Kabbalah, to reveal the hidden and foresee the future. “It is the tried-and-true great secret of Jewish sages and it will reveal to each petitioner that which he seeks.” There are those who say that this lot was used by the men of the Great Assembly, who hid it from future generations. Only after the Greek decree on the Jewish people was lifted did they reveal it to select individuals. Many handwritten Sefer HaGoralot manuscripts were transcribed over the years, and even printed. But due to the fact that precision was required for the incantations and the times for conducting the lots, according to detailed instructions, together with the fact that the book’s copyists were not sufficiently expert, the lots did not yield the required results. Hence usage of practical Kabbalah waned. This is a sefer goralot handwritten by the greatest practical Kabbalist of recent generations, the G-dly Kabbalist Chacham Yitzchak Kadouri. There was no one in recent generations who knew and also carried out salvations as he did using practical Kabbalah.
