One of the first works on the subject of pauses in cantillation. The book includes eight sections. There are two sections known in manuscript which were not brought to print.
Author Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Hena was one of the important grammarians of his time. The printer writes in his foreword that he was told that the author printed a similar work, but he checked the book [ Shaarei Torah , Hamburg 1718] and it is completely different from the book before us, which is also much larger.
