The first work of the “Chidushei HaRi”m” printed posthumously, with a short introduction by his grandson, the “Sifat Emet” of Gur. This copy is from the first edition, but with the addition of 18 supplemental leaves printed in the second edition of 1882. Owner stamps of the Admor of Izhbitza-Radzin, Rabbi Avraham Yissacher Englard (1909-2006). He was the son of Rabbi Yeshayahu, Rabbi of Sosnovtza, Poland and the son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Yosef Elazar Leiner, the Admo”r of Radzin. In 1942, when his brother-in-law was murdered by the Nazis, he fled to the forest with his followers. He survived the Holocaust, returned to Sosnovtza, later moved to the United States and then immigrated to Eretz Yisrael where he settled in Bnei Brak. Old binding. Minimal, small worming holes.
