The author, Rabbi Yehudah Greenwald [1845-1920] was a disciple of the Ktav Sofer and of Rabbi David Deutch. He was among the prominent rabbis of Hungary and served in the rabbinate of several famous cities, including Bonyhád and Satmar. He led the senior yeshivah in Satmar, which was one of the most highly regarded in Hungary.
The Admo”r Rabbi Shmuel Shmelke Rubin [1925-2013] was born to his father the Admo”r Rabbi Ya’akov Yisrael Vyshurun of Solca-Seregen of the Ropshitz dynasty. After the Holocaust, he moved to the United States, where he lived in Far Rockaway. He authored the book Minhagei Maharyy”v Solca and other works.

Fine-very fine condition. Minimal aging stains and minimal worming perforations. Two leaves are detached and slightly blemished in the margins. Simple binding.
