Siddur according to the Polish customs. Prayers for the weekdays, Shabbat, and holidays, with Pirkei Avot. [Amsterdam]. [1678].
[14] leaves. 20 cm. Apparently printed without a title page. Small, crowded letters, without vowelization, in three columns.
The colophon on leaf 14 states [in Hebrew]: “I, Yaakov di Cordova, worked on this book and finished my labor in [1678].” Some copies have additional leaves. The bibliographers decided that these leaves, 1-14, were printed in 1678, as per the colophon. The following leaves were printed later at various presses. Some of the copies of this rare prayerbook were bound with the Siftei Yisheinim of Rabbi Meshorer Bass that was printed in Amsterdam in 1680. We’ve included an article about the matter. Additional leaves were possibly printed in 1700.
