Rabbi Gedaliah Moshe Goldman was born in 1887. He was the son of Rabbi Shlomo Goldman, the Admor of Zhvil. In 1926, he was appointed rabbi of Zhvil, Ukraine. He was persecuted by the government and sentenced to seven years of harsh labor in Siberia. In 1937, he immigrated to Eretz Yisrael. When his father died in 1945, he served as Admor of Zhvil. He passed away in 1950 and was buried in Givat Ram. Streams of people visit his grave, particularly on Mondays and Thursdays.
