Signatures of two senior slaughterers at the top of the leaf, followed by the signatures of three rabbis in charge of the community’s kashrut affairs. Ottoman stamp. The Chacham Bashi’s stamp. 16th of Cheshvan, 1916.
This ‘smicha’ was given to slaughterer Nissan Avraham Shaul, who was worthy of slaughtering both chicken and animals. The leaf is adorned with colored, printed decorations and a floral border. Original folds. Light tears without loss.
Fine condition. Very rare.
