After the meeting, it was decided to go out and openly protest the phenomenon of breeding and consuming rabbits that had spread in the Land of Israel. ‘To warn against this new breach, that of breeding rabbits, in several kibbutzes and moshavas – also on JNF land’ the proclamation turns to the rabbit breeders and also to the managers of the community funds – that they should not dare transfer funds for this purpose. 26 rabbis appear in print, among them: Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank, Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, Rabbi Charlap and others.
