Printed Tanaim with the names of the bride and groom, the details of the contract and witnesses written by the Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh, Rabbi Elazar Menachem Mann Shach. [1960].
[1] leaf. Printed in blue.
Interesting point: The groom’s father is not the one written as ‘ha’omed l’tzad hachatan’, and the contract is signed by the bride and groom themselves– and not their representatives like the norm.
Rabbi Elazar Menachem Shach (1898-2002) was the leader of the Lithuanian yeshiva world for close to thirty years. He transferred the traditions of the leading yeshivot in Lithuania before the war to the yeshivot in Eretz Yisrael and authored the “Avi Ezri” series.
