Marrakech is a desert city in south west Morocco at the foot at the Atlas Mountains. Jews arrived in the city after the expulsion from Spain, and built a Jewish quarter there at the Sultan’s instructions. They built their own synagogue there. Very few Hebrew books printed in Marrakech are known.
