The Parma Psalter manuscript, one of the earliest and most important manuscripts from the Middle Ages, is the great treasure of the Palatine Library in Italy. The verses of
Tehillim are accompanied by colorful, breathtaking illustrations alongside the commentary of the Ibn Ezra – which shows that the creator was a Torah scholar in addition to his wealth. The Psalter was probably written in Northern Italy around 1280. Alongside the exact copy of the book is an explanatory volume in English written by three of the greatest researchers in the field.
