The book Nahar Shalom by the Rasha”sh is considered part of the Ar”i’s writings as a result of the Ar”i’s promise to his disciples that he will return to Olam HaZeh . Kabbalists believe that this occurred in the form of the Rasha”sh.
The first title page bears the signature of Rabbi Ya’akov Yosef HaKohen Traub of Sultan, Chacham Bashi of Beirut: “The youth, Ya’akov Yosef HaKohen Traub, S”T.” Several handwritten glosses appear along the book’s leaves.
