On the title page of the eulogies are lamentations for the great rabbis of Poland and Galicia, and for the Gaon Rabbi Yonatan Ibshitz. On the third title page is a description of the murders and atrocities which occurred in Poland in 1768. The sheets of the book contain tens of corrections in the handwriting of the author and some 100 witnesses attest that based on the style only the author himself could made the corrections.
The author was a holy, G-d- fearing, dedicated, kabbalist. His agreeable moral instructions were accepted by all diaspora communities, and his book was printed in many editions.
Old binding. Tear on sides of title page, a single leaf was cut by the binder touching the text. Age stains. Medium-fine condition.
