The “HaKriya V’HaKedusha” periodical. New York, [1940-1945].
Words of Torah and chassidut, chizuk articles, and information from the Chabad chassidut and more. Published by Agudat Chassidei Chabad. First published in Tishrei, October 1940. The last issue [61] was published in Elul, September, 1945. The volume includes all the issues in their entirety.
Most of the text is in Yiddish. Some in Hebrew. Starting in issue 7, the text is also in English. The first 3 booklets were printed on simple paper. Starting with issue 4, quality paper was used. The newspaper was issued as a monthly, with the blessing of the Admor of Lubavitch.
Each volume is 30 cm. tall and 5 cm. thick. In [1943], an attempt was made to translate the booklets into Hebrew. To the best of our knowledge, only solitary issues were translated. Very rare.
Very fine condition, other than the first two issues which were printed on simple paper. Some of their line endings were blemished on the side of the opening.
