A breathtaking and unique Haggadah on the topic of Jerusalem which was prepared in honor of the 3,000th anniversary of the city. Accompanied by illustrations of Yael Hershberg and calligraphy by Yitzchak Pludwinski, impressive colorful aquarelles, combined with gold, which portray architectural details from the neighborhoods of the city of Jerusalem and its central sites, and floral decorations. A special title page “Next Year in Jerusalem” on which is an original oil painting by Israel Hershberg and two micrographic works.
Bound in a leather cover. The
Haggadah is accompanied by an explanatory book in a semi-leather cover in which are photographs by Oded Antman and explanations of the sources of each of the
Haggadah ‘s illustrations by Professor Marc Michael Epstein.
Both volumes are in a slipcase, slight scuffing on the slipcase. The books are in new condition.
