Three photographs used by an Israeli fighter pilot during the Sinai Campaign. The targets for attack in the enemy Egyptian territory are clearly seen, with markings and names of the places designated for attack. [‘El Golf Camp’, ‘Police’, El Amin Road’, Ibrahim Road’, Shafia Zalul Road’, water factories, pumping station and more]. The photographs are dated on the right hand side: 23/11/1956. The Sinai Campaign officially ended on November 5 of that year, but withdrawal of the troops and final operations lasted until the end of December. The photographs before us show that enemy targets were still up for attack at this final stage of the war, after the ceasefire. Dimensions: 48×24 cm. [The photographs are of equal sizes]. Very fine condition.
