Kabbalistic essay, on the depth of the holy Torah … for … Talmidei Dvei Rav starting to enter the Pardes of wisdom, by Rabbi Rabbi Aharon Raphael Chaim Pereira. Jerusalem, Bak Press. [1870].
First edition of the book by the author who was one of the greatest Kabbalists of Jerusalem. On the back of the title page, a prayer for livelihood and Parashat Haman with the Onkelos translation after each verse. The book Tomer Devorah has a special title page.
According to Shoshana Halevi, Hasfarim HaIvriyim Shenidpesu B’Yerushalayim , Jerusalem 1963, p. 70, no. 140, to the book were added leaves that were printed approx. twenty years after the onset of its printing (!). These leaves: the first title page and the leaf after it as well as leaves 51-52 at the end of the book Toldot Moshe V’Aharon , were added later and were printed by a different press. Indeed, in this copy, one can discern that these leaves were printed on different paper.
