Oval silver medal designed with the work of Salvador Dali. Issued in 1993 by the Israel Coins and Medal Corp.
Obverse: Colored lithograph depicting a ship with sails and a fish to its left. The upper section features the word “Zebulun” in Hebrew and English. The bottom section features the artist’s signature.
Reverse: Dali’s work “Hora around the Menorah.” The bottom section, along the circumference, bears the artist’s name in English.
Edge: State emblem, the words “State of Israel” in Hebrew on the right and on the left S. 999. Medal number 754.

The paintings symbolizing the twelve tribes, the work of Salvador Dali, were created in honor of the 25th anniversary of the State of Israel. Though he wasn’t Jewish, Dali was impressed by the establishment of the Jewish state and the rebirth of its culture.
