Specifications: Incomplete copy. Before us is Orach Chaim – almost complete, Yoreh Deah – complete (it appears), Choshen Mishpat – missing the end, Even HaEzer – complete (apparently).
Unique Features: Glosses in the handwriting of Rabbi Shimon Segal Fogelman, also known as Feivelman. One of the foremost scholars of his time and brother-in-law of Rabbi Akiva Eiger of Poznan. He wrote many books on the Talmud as well as responsa. Most of his works were burned. Some of his novellae on the Talmud and responsa from him, in which he conducted in-depth discussions with the foremost rabbis of the generation, were printed by his son in the book Sha’ar Shimon , Warsaw 1885, and Chiddushei Rabbeinu Shimon HaLevi was printed in 1969.
