Background: Sulzbach printing press, among the most important Hebrew printing presses in Bavaria, operated between 1664 and 1851. Among the books printed there were prayer books, machzorim, the Zohar in Aramaic, the Babylonian Talmud and Jewish books for the general public in Yiddish, such as the book before us.
Unique Features: The entire text was printed in Tze’ena U’Re’ena script. Contains woodcut illustrations.
Condition: Fine, typical original binding. Worming damage, aging stains.
