Tzilusa D’Avraham, also known as the Chidushei MHRM”A by Rabbi Moshe Avraham Abish Margoliot, edited by Rabbi Dovid Shlomo Eibshitz, author of “Arvei Nachal” [Sudylkow, 1821]. Only edition. Stamp of Rabbi Yechezkel Paneth of Deyzh. [1], 99 leaves. 31 cm. Novellae on most tractates of the Talmud by Rabbi Moshe Avraham Abush Margoliot, av”d Zabno, brother and teacher of Rabbi Meir Margoliot av”d Ostrog, author of the Meir Netivim. The book was edited by his disciple, Rabbi Dovid Shlomo Eibshitz, author of the Arvei Nachal and Livushei Sarad and his novellae are interspersed throughout the book. The editor, the author of Arvei Nachal, was married to the granddaughter of his teacher- the author. Includes the approbations of his nephew, Rabbi Bezalel Margoliot av”d of Ostrog; and Rabbi Moshe Halevi Horowitz av”d Volochisk, author of “Emek HaShedim- Shoshanat Ha’amakim”, who profusely extols the author in his approbation and writes that the book is very profound. The chronogram alluding to 1810 is erroneous, since the approbations are from 1820-1821. Bibliographic lists notes the place of printing as Ostrog, but refer to Ohel Rochel (section 1, p. 459-460) which proves that it was printed in Sudylkow. The title page bears the stamps of Rabbi Yechezkel Paneth of Deyzh. New binding. Blue paper. Blemishes and tears. The last leaves are missing text. Poor-moderate condition. Stefansky, Chassidut 499.
