The author, Rabbi Avraham Saba, was a disciple of Rabbi Isaac de Leon rabbi, kabbalist and preacher in Spain. After the expulsion, he moved to Portugal, and after the expulsion from Portugal, to Algeria and Fez. He passed away on the boat en route to Italy in 1508.
Unique Features: Approximately ten lengthy comments written in ancient Italian handwriting are found among the book’s sheets. The writer’s identity has not been investigated.
Condition: Moderate, aging stains. Some tears and blemishes.
