49×67 cm. Center design of the building of the Bezalel School of Art. With red text at bottom: בצלאל בית מדרש למלאכות אומנות. Border with symmetrical designs in shades of brown and green. The bottom section of the rug features the text ירושלם בצלאל התרס”ט as part of the border.
An early Bezalel work made before the First World War. The rug department opened in 1906, and this piece was created during its third year.
The rug is stained and unraveling in a number of places. Moderate condition.
