The author was a Turkish sage. He immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1702 and taught Torah in Jerusalem. He was persecuted and eventually fled to Rhodes where he served as rabbi. He passed away in 1739. Interesting introduction by his disciple Rabbi Shmuel Amato. Owner signatures on title page.
Worn, detached leather binding. Detached title page with marginal tears. Minimal marginal aging stains and worming holes. Moderate-fine condition.
