Yalkut HaGershoni. Halachic and assorted compilations arranged in alphabetical order by Rabbi Gershon Stern, sections two and three. With scholarly glosses in the rabbinical handwriting of the grandson of Rabbi Yehuda Assad.
Unique features: Over the length of the book there are lengthy glosses. Some discuss the laws of “isser v’heter,” and it is clear that the writer was a respected rabbi who studied these halachot for practical application. One comment notes: “Refer to the response of my grandfather, Yehuda Assad…, prominent Hungarian rabbi of his generation.”
Condition: Very fine.
