Three books bound together:
* Tractate Berachot from Talmud Yerushalmi, Mainz 1875, with the commentary by Rabbi Shlomo Becher Yosef Sirilio, first edition. The Yerushalmi with the commentary was found in manuscript in the old city of Jerusalem. It was printed with comments called “Meir Nativ” by Rabbi Meir Lehman. Yechiel Brill Press, Mainz. Rabbi Yechiel Brill, the renowned printer from Jerusalem, established the second Hebrew press in Jerusalem in 1862 together with Yoel Moshe Salomon and Michel HaCohen. In 1870, after the newspaper controversy in Jerusalem, Rabbi Brill left Jerusalem and moved to Paris. However, following the German seige, he left Paris and moved to Mainz, Germany, and he established a Hebrew printing house, where this book was printed. The book contains complimentary words by rabbinic leaders, the rabbis of Jerusalem: the Rishon LeTziyon Rabbi Avraham Ashkenazi and Rabbi Meir Aurbach. The Rishon LeTziyon Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Suzin, Rabbi Yisrael Chaim Rephael Sagri, Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchak son of Rabbi Binyamin Meyuchas and more. There are also approbations by Rabbi Shimon Sofer, Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spektor, the Malbi”m, the Mahara”m Schick, Rabbi Ezriel Hildesheimer, the Netzi”v. [12], 38 leaves.
