Eight stanza lamentation – regarding the gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger, Hebrew and German on facing pages. Additional lamentation of twelve stanzas, titled ‘Davar B’Ito’ which compares the Tanna Rabbi Akiva and the departed Rabbi Akiva Eiger. [In one of the stanzas, it is written: ‘Tears spilled upon his grave’ – this according to Rabbi Akiva Eiger’s will, where he instructed that he should not be eulogized at all, except in the place of his grave.]
