Poem for the anniversary of ‘Mishmeret HaBoker VeHaErev’ Society in Mantua. The poem is vowelized, with illustrations and an illustrated frame encircling the leaf.
The Mishmeret HaBoker VeHaErev Society was established in Amsterdam in 1702 and the poem was written for its 15th anniversary.
To the best of our knowledge, this is the only publication that survived from this Society. Vinograd, Mantua 304.

The eulogy took place in the Machzike Hadath V’Shomrei Shabbat synagogue in London. The first to eulogize was the gaon and tzaddik Rabbi Eliyahu Lopian, who served at the time as rosh yeshivah of Etz Chaim in London.
On the poster itself, there is no date; it was determined according to the emissary’s year of death from another source.

Song of praise in honor of the coronation of King William I by Rabbi David Leon, moreh tzeddek and cantor of our congregation. [Amsterdam], 1818. Extraordinarily rare; not listed in the Bibliography .
King William ascended to the throne in 1815 and this song was apparently printed in honor of the third anniversary of his ascension to the throne (or there was a printing error, and it should read 1815).
Handwritten correction and addition, possibly in the hand of the songwriter.

An invitation to the founding meeting of the Chief Rabbinate of the Land of Israel, signed by the Chairman P. Krunpler. The conference took place with the participation of the British High Commissioner Herbert Samuel on February 22-24, 1921, and there the Chief Rabbinate was founded and the first two Chief Rabbis, Rabbi Kook on behalf of the Ashkenazim and Rabbi Yaakov Meir on behalf of the Sephardim, were elected.

Poster ‘The Decision of the Meeting of Rabbis of the Land of Israel’ and letter [2], 1919. On the topic of women participating in elections, signed by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook and a list of important rabbis. Issue arose around the first elections to the
Asefat Chaverim of Knesset Yisrael, the most important national institution in the Mandate Period, which generated a wide rabbinic controversy regarding the participation of women in elections. Rabbi Kook stood at the head of a rabbinic meeting that decided to prohibit their participation, in opposition to Rabbi Uziel’s opinion. In a public letter that was published soon after the poster, Rabbi Kook gives various explanations for his opinion.

Receipt given to philanthropist Steinberg for his donation to the holy yeshivah in Grodno. The right side of the receipt has a photograph of the rabbis and students of the yeshivah from 1929. “The money is for the holy purpose of supporting the Torah scholars of the Shaar Torah yeshivah who study Torah diligently day and night, and the students are destined to become among the great teachers in Israel” is printed on the receipt. On the bottom of the receipt there is a blessing from Rabbi Shimon Shkop: “In the merit of supporting Torah, may Hash-m give you blessing and success, may all your needs be met for the good.” Printed signature of Rabbi Shimon Yehuda HaKohen Shkop. 3 Kislev 1930.

A poster which was printed by the Ashkenazi Badatz of Jerusalem that “On this Yom Kippur” [1909], we will remember the tremendous loss of “the great one of Israel and the holy one, Rabbenu Shmuel Salant, who was a father and a merciful protector of Jerusalem for seventy years.” The rabbis are quoted requesting that everyone tearfully say special prayers in his memory and “we will awaken in complete repentance.” Signed with the stamp of the Ashkenazi Beit Din of Jerusalem.
