A collection [10] of rare books. Nine of them printed in Djerba and one in Sousse.
* Chaim L’Yisrael by Rabbi Chaim David son of Yosef Gaj, Tunisia 1909. On the title page is a dedication in the handwriting of the Chief Rabbi of Tunisia Rabbi Yosef Gaj, as well as his personal stamp.
* Bechor Yaakov, homiletics for Shabbatot and festivals from Rabbi Yaakov HaCohen. Djerba 1912. Most of the introductory leaves are uncut pages. Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic. Not bound.
* Chessed V’Emmet parts 1-2, homiletic and commentary by Rabbi Chaim son of Avraham Zaken Chori, Djerba 1916.
*Hamiluim L’Moshe by Rabbi Mosh Maimon Av Beit Din of Gabès, Djerba 1932. The copy in the National Library is missing 9 leaves at the beginning of the book and 7 leaves at the end. This book is complete. Faded cardboard binding with tears. Stains. The body of the book is in fine condition.
* Sha’arei Zion, novalle on laws and aggadot on the majority of the Talmud by Rabbi Zion Cohen Yehonatan Shushan, Djerba 1932. Ownership inscriptions from the time of print on the title page.
* Ma’aseh Adad Eldani. By Eldad HaDani [9th century], Judeo-Arabic, Sousse, 1940’s. Bound with Chacait HaAron Elrashid, and with Elchila V’Elashek.
* Zera David [second work] on Even HaEzer and Choshen Mishpat, by Rabbi Yonatan Cohen and Sassi Matouk, Djerba 1952, printed in the printing press of Mekikatz David Sa’adon and completed in the Chadad printing press. Dedication on the title page.
* Derech Yeshara, novaelle on the Talmud by Rabbi Yosef Shimoni, and the booklet U’Shemo Mordechai by his brother the Ramash. Djerba 1966. Otzar HaIvri printing press. (Novaelle published by his brother after he was murdered during the Holocaust years).
* Tractate Brachot Djerba 1941. Printing press of the ‘Zohar HaRakia’ Society. Most of page 24 is missing and was completed by hand. Dedication at the end of the tractate. Used cardboard binding.
*Pirchei Kehuna part 3, Talmudic novaelle, Gemara and Mishna by Rabbi Rachamim Chai Chavita HaCohen. Djerba 1971, printed in Beit Otzar Ha’Ivri. A picture of the author on the page following the title page.
