Articles of wisdom and various information about Jewish religion and Jewish life. The author was a Christian theologian who wrote the book as a textbook for students. In addition to much information about the Bible, the book includes information about Talmudical tractates, including some on “Masechtot Ketanot”, and a detailed description of the Jewish calendar. Folded plate with the Hasmonean dynasty, and a large folded sketch of the ten kabalistic spheres [!].
Especially rare book, to the best of our knowledge, it can only be found in two public libraries throughout the world.
Old, half-leather binding. Minimal aging stains. Very fine condition.
