Rabbi Eliezer Lipman Kunstadt ( HeChatam Sofer V’Talmidav 69) was a rabbi in Pressburg and one of the most prominent disciples of the Chatam Sofer. He served as a mikveh attendant in Pressburg, and in Shu”t HeChatan Sofer , he is cited as receiving the measurement for a mikveh from the Chatam Sofer. The Chatam Sofer officiated at his marriage and forbade music at his wedding because that same day he received news of the Mahara”m Bennet’s passing.
Rabbi Meshulam Task of Pressburg was a son of Rabbi Mordechai of Task, who served as a dayan together with the Chatam Sofer, Rabbi Meir Berabi and Rabbi Meshulam Iggera. There is much correspondence from him in Shu”t Chatam Sofer .
