The book Zera Kodesh Matzevta was prepared for print in Frankfurt, but the large conflagration that hit the city in 1711 and caused the expulsion of Rabbi Naftali HaKohen Katz from the city, also burned many of the pages of the book. The remnants were transferred to Venice where the book was then completed.
