Unique features: Two sections in original parchment bindings; nice, complete set. Stamp of Rabbi Zvi Hirsh Lehren at the start of section two. As known, this work was involved in a polemic.
Background: Rabbi Zvi Hirsh Lehren (1784-1854) headed the Pekidim V’Amraclim in Amsterdam. He was both well-versed in Torah and wealthy. He battled strongly to maintain religious principles and dedicated himself to assisting the poor of the Holy Land.
Condition: Very fine-excellent. Minimal aging stains.
