Lengthy dedication at on the top of the title page handwritten by the author Rabbi Chaim Ya’akov Naftali Silverberg, “the tzaddik of Warsaw”: ‘A loving souvenir for my dear friend from youth, the great teacher and tzaddik Rabbi Chaim Ya’akov Naftali, may he be healthy and live long, son of the gaon and tzaddik ztzllh”h av beit din of Viroshov, may he be healed soon, regain his strength, live long to a good old age with spiritual satisfaction – from me, the author of Damesek Eliezer .” Several of the tzaddik of Warsaw’s owner’s stamps appear on the title page and the following leaf.
