Rabbi Nachman Natan Coronel (1810-1890) was an Amsterdam sage who immigrated to Safed, and then to Jerusalem after the great earthquake where he taught in the “Beit El” yeshiva. He was a colleague of Rabbi Yosef Schwartz. He published many early manuscripts. He authored many works, including “Beit Nosson” and “Zecher Nosson”. In 1874, he published articles in the “Shomer Tzion HaNe’eman” – Altona 706-716, when he was travelling in Europe to raise funds for his community. He published many books from early manuscripts.
Rabbi Refael Elazar HaLevi Ibn Tovo was the Rabbi of the Moroccan community in Jerusalem. He was born in Rabat, Morocco, and immigrated to Jerusalem in 1875 where he died in 1886. He authored “Pekudat Elazar” on the Shulchan Aruch.
Used, half-leather binding. The blank margins of the title page and one other leaf have been restored. Worming holes. Aging stains. Moderate condition.
