This book is Derech Etz Hayim: and is the first book arranged by Rabbi Meir Paprush, who died in 5422 [1662] in Jerusalem. The letters of his Rav, Rabbi Yaakov ben Rabbi Haim Zemach and Rabbi Haim Vital are among the great teachers of Kabbalah. The writings of Rabbi Haim Vital were found in the home of Rabbi Shmuel Vital in Damascus. This manuscript contains six approbations and a further approbation from the Sages of Austria, living in Kloiz. The printing of this book opened a new period, wherein the writings of Rabbi Haim Vital begin to be published. A signature of the owners is on the title page. Semi-leather binding, slightly damaged.
