The author collected Talmudic passages about the relevant festival in this compilation, and inserted punctuation. With a content-rich introduction in which the author discusses his educational doctrine, as well as changes that, in his opinion, must be made to the educational system. The author also writes that the ‘gemaras’ are meant for youth, but he adds that adults will also find it interesting.
At the beginning of both compilations, there are handwritten author’s dedications from the gaon Rabbi Yechiel Michel Tukachinsky, the principal of Etz Chaim and publisher of the renowned Luach .
