Rabbi Yehuda Leib Don Yechye was born in [1869] in Vitebsk to a Lubavitch family[!], and he studied by Rabbi Chaim of Brisk. He served as Rabbi in Chernihiv and Sklow. In 1936 he immigrated to Palestine and passed away in 1941. He authored “Bechorei Yehuda” in two sections [Ludza (Lutzin) 1930 – Tel Aviv, 1939].
