Letter from Rabbi Akiva Sofer of Pressburg to Rabbi Dr. Yitzchak Levine. Jerusalem, 1947.
The first part of the letter is a thank-you letter from the ‘Shevet Sofer’ yeshivah administration to Rabbi Dr. Yitzchak Levine. On the second side of the leaf, the rosh yeshivah, Rabbi Akiva Sofer, adds a handwritten letter with his signature and stamp. In this letter, he highly praises Rabbi Levine and his activities, and relates childhood memories when he had the merit of meeting his grandfather, Rabbi Yitzchak Shmelkish.
