Raviv’s first book of photography. He employed the montage and photomontage techniques for which he was famous. These unique photos depict Jewish life in Vilna between the two world wars and were published and exhibited in many locations.
Moshe Raviv (1904-1995) was a photographer and artist who excelled in photomontage. He was one of the founders of the Artist’s Colony in Safed. He studied art and architecture at the Vilna University. In Dessau, Germany, he studied at the Bauhaus and in Paris, he studied at Ecole de Photo Ciné.
