Koreh HaDorot – “Chronicles of our People, the Seed of Ya’akov” by the leading poet of his generation, Shalom HaKohen. First and only edition. Warsaw, 1838. The book is adorned with approbations by rabbinic leaders of the generation. Rare book.
In 1838, poet Shalom HaKohen published the first part of Koreh HaDorot (here; and it was the only part published), his work on the chronicles of the Jewish people from the Second Temple period onward. The other parts of the work remain in manuscript, and some passages from them were published posthumously in various journals.
