The collection includes homiletics and novellae, ‘Techiyat HaMeitim’, ‘Shivchei HaTzaddikim’ and more. Leaves 130-162 feature the laws of Chanuka copied from the Shulchan Aruch of Rabbi Yosef Karo with an expansive commentary titled “Ner Mitzvah” according to Kabala and homiletics. This work is apparently unknown. A later author (19th century) added halachic thoughts, homiletics, and the Arizal’s kabala to many leaves amongst the works.
Wood boards covered with leather and brown paper. A number of leaves are detached. The first leaf is blemished. Stains. Fine condition.
