Rabbi Binyamin Zilber (1916-2008) was born to his father Rabbi Baruch, studied at yeshivah in Warsaw, at the Brisk yeshivah and in Novohorodok. He ascended to the Land of Israel in 1933, where he drew close to the Chazon Ish and even received an approbation from him for his book Mekor Halachah. He settled in Bnei Brak in 1956. He never held a Torah position; he dedicated his days to studying and authored books of halachah and mussar. His most famous book is Az Nidberu in 14 parts.
