The letter was sent on “the third day,” the 5th of Sivan, and the Admor writes about the days of preparation for Shavuot. He concludes: “And no nation and language rules over them …” apparently a hint to the days following the Six-Day War. At the bottom of the letter, there are comments and sources for what is written in the body of the letter.
The letter is on an aerogram, with the Admor’s name and address, with his signature, and with a blessing added in his handwriting.
The Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson [1902-1994], the seventh Admor in the Lubavitch dynasty, began to serve as Admor in 1951 and continued until his passing. He was a tremendous genius in all secrets of Torah and his net was cast over the entire world.
