The letter was sent to Rabbi Nissan Tukachinsky, administrator of the Etz Chaim institutions. The Rabbi of Tchebin discusses a bachur who had learned in the yeshiva, left the yeshiva during a difficult period, but now wants to return to his studies. The Rabbi of Techbin begs Rabbi Nissan to re-accept the boy.
Rabbi Dov Berish Weidenfeld [1881-1965] was a genius who served as rabbi of Tchebin. He spent the Holocaust years in Siberia. After the war, he immigrated to Jerusalem, founded the Kochav MiYaakov yeshiva and was a prominent posek.
