Rabbi Eliezer David Greenwald (1867-1928) was born in Csorna, Hungary to Rabbi Amram Greenwald, son of Rabbi Yosef Greenwald, Av Beit Din of Czechowice. In his youth he studied with his brother, author of Arugat HaBosem and was considered is primary disciple. He learned for a short time under Rabbi Shmuel Ehrenfeld, author of Chatan Sofer . Served as rabbi and rosh yeshiva in Tzehlem (today, Deutschkreutz in Austria) Ober-Vishova and Satmar, Transylvania. He was one of the most famous Torah scholars of his time and taught many students, including some of the foremost Torah scholars of Transylvania and Hungary. Known by the name of his book Keren L’David . Letters from him are rare. Some stains and tiny tears without lack. Fine condition.
