Letter handwritten and signed by the Admor of Sochachov, Rabbi Chanoch Borenstein, son of the ‘Shem MiShmuel.’ Adar 1961.
In the letter, the Admor thanks Rabbi Shmuel Shtzedrovsky for his assistance helping his son become a rabbi of the sort of rabbis who are supported. In the margins of the letter, the Admor blesses him: ‘With the start of month in which joy is increased, please accept my sincere blessings for the spread of holiness and joy among the people and the Land in holiness, on the Torah personality and pure fear of G-d …’ and his signature.
Rabbi Chanoch Henich Borenstein [1897-1965] the fourth Admor of Sochachov. He was appointed Admor after the Holocaust, in which his brother, the third Admor, Rabbi David Borenstein, was killed. He established the Sochachov study hall in Jerusalem.
