Letter of encouragement signed by the grandson of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz – Rabbi Leibele of Hornosteipel, son of Rabbi Mordechai Dov of Hornosteipel, son-in-law of the author of Divrei Chaim of Sanz.
The Rebbe writes words of encouragement and shares in the sorrow of his Chassid who became impoverished: “I was sorry to read about your difficult financial situation, woe is me that I see my friend who dispensed with an open hand fall so drastically … I give you my warm blessing from the depths of my heart that Hash-m see your poverty, suffering and wandering and send you angels of peace, of blessing, to raise you up from your low place to direct you back to your place as before …”
The Admo”r Rabbi Leibele of Hornosteipel was the [maternal] grandson of the author of Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Rabbi Leibele was the brother-in-law of Rabbi Shalom Eliezer of Ratzfurt; and in-law of his nephew, Rabbi Ben Tziyon of Bobov; and of his cousin, warrior in Hash-m’s war against the Zionists and the Mizrachi, Rabbi Yissachar Ber Halberstam of Tzieshinov, son of the author of Divrei Yechezkel of Shinowa.
