Rabbi Shlomo Yisrael Klein (1884-1945) was the son of Rabbi Pinchas Chaim, son of the holy Rabbi Shmelke of Selish. He studied in the Unsdorf yeshivah. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Netanel Fried, author of Pnei Mevin . Served as rabbi in Selish. He authored books on Torah and Shas. He perished in the Bergen-Belsen labor camp during the Holocaust.
